This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work on BookTeeOff. Each golf course also has its own cancellation rules, shown on its course page — those rules govern the rounds you book at that course.
1. Course cancellation rules come first
Every course page on this website shows that course’s cancellation policy — the required notice period and any fees. You can review it before you book, and it applies to your rounds at that course.
2. Before payment — free cancellation
While your booking is in Requested, Checking or Offered status (that is, before payment), you can cancel at any time free of charge from My Account → Bookings — the entire request or individual rounds. If a payment deadline passes without payment, the request expires automatically and nothing is charged.
3. After payment
After payment (Paid / Booked status), cancellation requests are handled by our support team — contact us by email, phone or chat as early as possible. Your refund is determined by the golf course’s cancellation rule, based on the time remaining before your tee-off when you request the cancellation.
4. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method — card refunds through OnePay, or a bank refund for bank-transfer payments. We process refunds within 7–14 business days of confirming the refund; your card issuer or bank may need additional time to post the amount.
5. Emergency exceptions
In the event of unavoidable emergencies — such as sudden medical issues, official flight cancellations, or family bereavement — please contact us immediately with official supporting documents in English. We will do our best to negotiate with the golf course on your behalf; the final decision on such refunds rests with the golf course.
6. No-show
Failure to appear at the course without prior cancellation is handled under the course’s own rules and is normally non-refundable.
7. If the golf course cancels
If the golf course cannot honor a paid round — for example due to course closure or maintenance — we will offer you a rebooking or a full refund of that round.
8. Partial cancellation
Bookings containing multiple rounds can be cancelled round by round. Remaining rounds continue unchanged, and the total is recalculated without the cancelled rounds.
